I never thought I would be able to write about what I have just experienced, but here we are. God works in mysterious ways, orchestrating everything for the good of those who trust in Him. Even through loss, even in the face of unimaginable tragedy and the darkest evils of this world, God still works for good.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."—Romans 8:28

Today, someone shared a message with me that has been playing in my mind non-stop:

"It doesn’t say that God turns bad things good. Nowhere in the Bible does it claim that every cloud has a silver lining or that every tragedy is a blessing in disguise. No sentimental platitudes. What we are told is this: bad things remain bad, but in the end, God will bring good out of them.

A perfect example is Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus. Lazarus, His friend, was dead. Everyone was weeping, yet Jesus, knowing He was about to raise Lazarus, did not approach with a smile or a dismissive attitude. He wept. He was furious. Why? Because death is bad. Evil is evil.

'Jesus wept.' —John 11:35

The Bible offers realism, not shallow optimism. Read the Psalms, and you’ll find laments over the evil in this world. Jesus hates death and suffering so much that He was willing to plunge Himself into it—taking on human form, enduring the cross, and dying for us—so that one day He could return and end all evil without ending us."

Through this truth, I found peace with questions that had long been engraved in my heart.

God is far greater than our limited understanding. His ways and mercy often elude us, yet even in the depths of sorrow, His love is revealed. In our darkest moments, His mercy shines through.

Even when we are in the deepest pit of despair, the light of hope breaks through. The more we grasp His love, the more it illuminates our path toward hope.
