The Sacred Writ

We read books and treasure what is written on every page. As a bookworm person myself I deeply get why books are such a valuable treasure. We value what this people write trying to grasp the concept of it all. But unlike any book we would every find in this world, unlike those classics we spend a lot of money to buy there is this book that is written by the one whose wisdom is beyond measures. ’It is the word of God, the Bible. ‘“The word of God.” The Word written, the Word spoken, the Word lived. The Word written, as we have it in the Bible; the Word spoken, as we speak it and transmit it to others; the Word lived, as we translate it into character and deed.’

What a privilege is it to learn from you oh lord, to draw knowledge from your deep wisdom that flows from your sovereign word. It’s marvelous to see your character through every page just experiencing your love and mercy in every syllable. It’s amazing to see how letters in different shapes hold so much power printed on a page. You see they are not just empty words displayed but rather hold the power to transform a life because it is the word of the almighty God.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

You see the only way we can understand it is through the Holy Spirit. we can never understand what God is trying to say through his word unless we have a connection with this spirit. The spirit of God and the word go along together. The word by itself is a knowledge that we interpret through our knowledge and experiences we drag ourselves and the people who listen to us to destruction. The perfect place to see the right concept of who truly God is though his word.

“I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD, ‘for they shall all know me” Jeremiah 31:33,34
